Mayhem Responds to Critics on the UG:
"lol @ you lames.
It was a mistake. Jacare calls me a clown and disrespects me all the time, headbutted me and opened a cut on my eye. If he could've done it to me, he would have. I'll beat the shit out of him legally next time. What's he gonna do? Submit me? LOL Kayo me? LMMFAO.
Brazillian nuthuggers can suck my mother fuckin dick, that gets more pussy than any one of you could imagine, due to my MTV show, my good looks, and my tons of money.
How is that for classy? Oh you know what, I don't give a fuck what you think, I'm the fucking man. Hey CRE, what was your down syndrome Brazillian gonna break? NOTHING. Bitch ass had me on the ground for 3 seconds.
Let me get my bread for fucking him up in a rematch, and watch you all cry about how I "don't respect the sport." In the words of Dana White, "Fuck you you fucking c***."
Go jerk off to TUF.

Wow – there’s a huge gap in understanding sarcasm and context around here.

In hindsight, you're right
Warmachine actually is much less of a douche than Mayhem.

Mayhem should have another L on his record and Jacare should be wearing the DREAM middleweight belt. There’s no way in hell you rule that soccer kick as anything but intentional.
Accidental headbutts happen all the time. Accidental soccer kicks on the other hand…

Well, I'm assuming he was in Japan so.........
I’m not sure if they have a TV deal with the UFC over there but from what I understand most other countries don’t have the UFC on PPV, that’s mainly a north america thing.
Didn’t think it through. Just remember seeing him say on Twitter that he couldn’t find anyone ordering the fight and he wanted to pirate it.
I poop rainbows.

Dude, did you see how much the dollar fell? People in Japan are using Benjamins to light fireworks.

IMHO
Mayhem is trying hard to be the “slim shady” of MMA. I admire him for his tenacity, but sometimes ya gotta know when to just keep your mouth shut. Stooping to the level of a group of your rivals nuthuggers is no way to gain fans or keep them. Then again neither is acting like a scripted halfwit on a dumbass MTV show.
If you're gonna be dumb, ya gotta be tough.

You don’t think having a few million people see you being promoted as a host and fighter is a way to increase your fan base?
Maybe fans of Mayhems personality, which I said before, I admire. Although I’m willing to bet a large percentage of the people who watch that show, have little to no familiarity with MMA, let alone Mayhems fighting career. So is he really gaining fans as Mayhem the fighter, or Mayhem the MTV show host? I see your point though, fans are fans, no matter what they’re interested in you for. One interest can carry into another, maybe people who didn’t know who Mayhem was before the show, are now taking interest in his fighting career, I don’t know. The last sentence n my previous comment was more to show my disdain for that show, rather than elaborating on my point.
If you're gonna be dumb, ya gotta be tough.

No, Mayhem is trying to be himself – a guy who makes fun of acting like the slim shady of MMA. He’s the Andy Kaufman of Eminem of MMA. (Say that 3 times fast!)

My work here is done. :-)
Did you see Eminem on the Jimmy Kimmel show talking about how he ended up doing Stan with Elton John? Seems that when he was struggling with drug addiciton he got somebody to give him Elton’s phone number so he could call and ask for help.
Things are not always as they seem.

That's Bullsh!t
That performance was arranged by his record label following the controversy over his public homophobic outburst. Elton John saved his career maybe, but that Kimmel story is crap. Dana White’s people should’ve arranged something with Adam Glambert for him a month ago… could’ve been big…
I like Mayhem, but the bragging about pussy and money shit is not an endearing characteristic, and might be something he later regrets posting on the internetz. I also have to admit that the soccer kick did not look anywhere near legal—no attempt to check it when Jacare was clearly down and Mayhem was looking right at him. I hope “Bully Beatdown” isn’t going to Mayhem’s head, because it’s a shit show that likely won’t have a shelf life. Loved his school girl entrance though.

Oh I get it!
He’s not really an asshole.. he only acts like one, talks like one, and treats people like one.
Haha that IS funny…

treats who like an asshole?

That reporter kid. Remember, poor kid trying to do his best, mayhem starts insulting him and his religion?
Isn’t being Mormon asking for it?
Or have you never been to Utah? :-P

Damn
Shit goes down on the UG.
In all honesty though, it’s not all that surprising that he reacted like this to all the criticism he got, but I do think he could’ve handled it more… tactfully.
It’s whatev. I personally don’t care for a rematch between the two

I love Mayhem. When he says shit like this, it makes me an even bigger fan. I don’t know why. I usually don’t like it when fighters act like retards. I don’t mind it when Mayhem does it though.
I agree with you here, I don’t know why but when Frank Mir acts like an arrogant a-hole it pisses me off, stuff like this I find funny.
(Because when Mayhem does it, you know he’s not taking himself seriously. And when Frank does it, you pray that he isn’t.)

Mayhem is fluent in internet speak
Doesn’t he automatically win a message board war when he opens with “lol @ you lames” and closes with “/thread”?
"Japan is half-Machida" - iiowyn
Mayhem is a funny guy. No accounting for taste….. Why are all of us allowed to criticize these fighters for their actions in & out of the ring but they shouldn’t be allowed to “respond”? If someone cut you off on the highway & you flip them off, I’m sure they might do the same (at least in NY). I’m glad he’s flipping off people on message boards. It’s not like he’s challenging people to a fistfight over some dumb comments. He knows they’re just words. Ya know, after he came out on that HDNet fight card to Kung Fu Fighting, wearing the Lucha Libre mask & kicked the head off a pinata, HE MADE ME A FAN FOR LIFE!!
