I don’t know anything, they are saying that, but there’s nothing right yet. I’m waiting the confirmation to see who we will fight.

Now I have to see if he’ll get down to middleweight. Who defines this isn’t him. I fight at 185lbs. If they want to do this fight at 185lbs, it’s done, otherwise I see no option to go up, even because he isn’t a challenge, a man with much name. To go up, I don’t see him as a challenge. I want to fight with him in the weight he was champion (at Dream), then I think its worth.

Don’t be so sure – I don’t think this fight is happening. Mousasi has said again and again that he’s done at MW, and most of the other good non UFC MWs are busy. Unless people are salivating for Belfort-JMac, he might just come calling.

Except he still has a contract with Affliction, so it would be premature, wouldn’t it?

Dana was obviously going to introduce the “next Anderson Silva” along with this “mind-blowing” MW as a combo announcement.

good call from vitor. as much as i want to see belfort/mousasi, my boy vitor has found his place at 185 and has looked great. if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

i think what he means is that if he fights mousasi at lhw and beats him then ppl will always say “well mousasi is a natural middleweight” just gives ppl an excuse to discredit the win…

I think that Mousasi should gun for a fight against Fedor in the next year or so. A seasoned heavyweight Mousasi would be freakishly competitive against Fedor. He matches up with him in weight, speed, ground game, and stand-up (it seems to me).

But I’ve only caught about 4 of his fights, the guy seems to be the real deal.

Because of this article I wound up checking the Tatame brazilian page and all the user comments are about how Shogun will murder Lyoto and how Shogun is a “real” fighter.
