UFC 98 Results: Chael Sonnen Grinds Out Decision Over Dan Miller

The buzz going into UFC 98's middleweight bout between former WEC middleweight champ Chael Sonnen and the up and coming Dan Miller was that Sonnen wasn't sophisticated enough on the ground to avoid Miller's dangerous submission game.

But Sonnen proved his doubters wrong tonight, surviving multiple guillotine attempts, a kneebar, an armbar try and even a triangle choke attempt from the game Miller. Sonnen shrugged off all of the jiu jitsu Miller brought and answers with an effective ground and pound game and some dynamic slams that left no doubt as to who was the better man.

Sonnen won every round on all three judges score cards to win a unanimous 30-27 decision.
