Well, the game that we've all been waiting for 2 years (at least I've been foaming at the mouth since that video of Rampage and Iceman was released) has been out for a few days and I'm sure a lot of us has been able to tackle the Career Mode. I'm curious to see or at least hear about what creations in fighters have been made...
What combos have worked best for the striking and grappling techniques?
Who's got the best looking created Fedor?
Any off the wall creations?
Praises or gripes w/ the Career Mode?
I'd be interested to see what y'all think...

Melvin Manhoef
He is currently maxed on Strength with the appropriate speed and quickness. I have realistically made him have a crappy ground game, and I’ve basically stunned the entire division by working a steady diet of leg kicks on opponents.
Manhoef is the epitome of destruction. I am currently 35-0 with 35 TKO/KO’s. Most in the first round. The best combinations for him has been the lunging one-two body blow combination to head kick, or throwing multiple body and leg kicks to set up the head kick (ala Cro Cop LHK). I’ve found myself working the ground a bit, although that runs the risk of getting reversed and crushed. Marquardt tried to shoot on me and was subsequently kneed into dazed mode, then spinning backfisted into unconsciousness.
The dream matchup between A. Silva and Melvin Manhoef ended when Manhoef crushed Silva’s leg into a pulp, and unleashed a 4 strikes combo of punches that KO’d Silva. The UFC is probably downloading my game data right now as a realistic account of Manhoef’s destruction.

What difficulty setting are you playing?
The default is EASY which isn’t much of a challenge.

I used this formula for Fedor...
Came out perfect…. was tearing people up until oddly enough I ran into Tim Sylvia…. that long reach can be a bitch and they were way too generous with his wrestling and takedown defense skills.

Actually...
BE You need to have a CAF creation FanPost where everyone can vote on what the best CAFs are for all major fighters, and put all the attributes out there so that all BE members can create them.
I have done this before for the PRIDE game and everyone really enjoyed it.
Make it happen BE, I am sure a lot of gamers and people participating in the BE tourny will appreciate it.

I'm glad they took out the mini games....
but IMO there is still too much time between fights. I also hate how many attributes you have to spread out your points to (to which you have to spread out your points?). I wish I could choose to train BJJ and all of my grappling offense and defense points would increase (or spar with a bjj and muay thai fighter to have those specific attributes increased). I just feel like I’m neglecting certain attributes to make sure I don’t get crushed in my next fight. I have like zero clinch offense because I need to have good takedown defense and grappling defense and offense.
I’ve also been getting my ass kicked by my sparring partner, resulting in few earned points. I have to pretty much run from the guy and jab him to death hoping he doesn’t get the takedown.
Only two losses. One to AJ which I avenged. The other is to GSP. I had taken his title with a 6 second, one punch KO and he knocked me out in the rematch. I then knocked out Matt Hughes and have been offered another title shot against GSP but I’m kinda scared of him now lol

Some insight...
So, I attempted to make Eddie Alvarez this weekend and he ended up looking more like Denis Kang and I’m finding creating these guys is harder than I thought.
So I’m going to create Gegard Mousasi because I wanna run through the LHW career, here’s my question….. Gegard Mousasi: Boxing/Judo…. Kickboxing/Judo…or those striking techniques w/ BJJ instead?
