The first ever Korean National Open Jiu Jitsu Championship was held on May 10th in South Korea. Approximately 180 players participated in the event, which was hosted by the BJJFK (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation of Korea) and used Mundials rules for all of its nine gi-only weight classes.
Spirit MC veterans made their presence felt: Ok Myoung Kim (blue belt) won the -76kg class, PANCRASE fighter Jin Suk Jung (blue belt) took the -64kg division, and Ho Jin Kimok (white belt) won the Absolute class at -88kg.
