JEWELS 3rd Ring Results: HIROKO Decisions Hooper, Ishioka Challenges Fujii

JEWELS' third show is in the books. As expected, the company's prize giantess HIROKO used her size advantage to batter Josh Barnett pupil/ladyfriend Shannon Hooper for two rounds and a unanimous decision win. Likewise for prospect Shizuka Sugiyama, who outpointed the debuting Team Hellboy Hansen product Celina. Hard luck HARUMI is still without a win, submitted for the eighth time in eleven bouts by Chihiro Oikawa.

The next JEWELS show will take place on July 11th. Megumi Fujii said that she'd like to fight again soon, because she came out of her fight at Shooto unscathed; Saori Ishioka challenged Fujii later in the night. They'll fight in July or September, depending on Megu's ADCC participation. K-1 fighter REINA (Lena) and pro wrestler Fuka Matsuri also appeared and expressed their desire to fight.

0-11?

Why do they employ fighters with such records? For every loss this girl has there are 11 wins floating around out there. Sign those people instead.

Numbers

they need anyone they can too fight so its not the same ten people fighting each other. At least those women are game for another fight after losing that many, they dont seem to take too much damage in the fights so let them go at it as many times as they want. But for being a women’s only organization they need to step it up and set the bar high. Get gina or cyborg over there and see who follows.

strike, submit, never quit
