CFC # 8 - MMA DownUnder.
Cage Fighting Championship has release their fight-card for CFC #8 which will take place on the 22nd of May, this Friday. Interesting that the LHW Tournement seems to be shaping up quite well too.
I have to admit - I honestly thought the promoters where going to stack the card in the favour of the local boys but that doesn't seem to be the case with only one Australian guaranteed of making the second round. Plus, it has me trying to remember when was the last time Australian MMA fans could possibly see four very decent fights on the one night. Might catch the flight up to Sydney after all.

Just watched CFC 6 last night actually. The commentator on that show made my ears bleed.

yep, makes you wonder where they got them.
honestly – if you can get to the event you’ll have a much better time.
little times between the fights (that said the first fight wont start till after 7:30),
venue is small so you wont sit a mile away from the action,
good sound and lighting.
few people leave during the fights…

Mendes is doing the rounds. Hopefully hes not still funky from getting his lights switched off by Britt.

personally i hope Priscus shuts Mendes down.
priscus is another ex-international judo player trying to crack the MMA world after the IJF pulled the pin on the selection criteria for London.
