Looks like it but who could know? That one looks nicer though, probably my favorite. I don’t feel like registering to vote.

Yah if they clean this up a bit it has to win. Great simple concept, but as it is right now the Fleur De Leis isn’t all that apparent.

Top right everybody else likes just seems to much of a rip of of NBA logo concept. Cool, but little originality.

completely agree

this is by far the best. i don’t even think it needs any “cleaning up”. great concept and execution imo. not a fan of the NBA logo ripoff. its been done to DEATH!

I think it needs cleaning up for a couple of reason. One is the “Oh snap” factor of xFenixKnightx post above. If don’t get the GSP then it’s just ugly. A logo needs to be able to be shrunk or minimally squished, and then it still need to be recognizable. Mainly the S needs to be more apparent (shorten the legs, more uniform width of long leg and a bigger connection of the legs). The second as I have already stated is that the fleur-de-lis isn’t all that apparent. It is right now because all but maybe one of the entries it’s next to all contain the fleur-de-lis so it’s much easier to make the connection.

Another reason I love it is works really well as a 1 color or 2-tone print which makes just that much easier to use.

i understand what you are saying

i just don’t agree. i don’t think its ugly at all if you don’t see the GSP in it, but i’m neither the designer or the client so i really can’t make that call. lol

i’ve been doing design professionally for about 8 years now (including logo design — althought i decided not to enter this contest), so i understand the mechanics and the needed functionality of a logo.

Legibility is completely unnecessary

How many people think of the Windows logo as actually being a window? This can be associated with him, and could be made highly functional for multi-use, and ~~more importantly~~ multi-demo branding with only minor enhancement.

Maybe a knockout background? That way at small sizes they can use 1 or 2 color printing/imaging to make it legible anywhere? two-thirds of the thickest stroke fer instance with some weight tweaking would make this very flexible and complete it as a composition on its own. Anyone else have an idea?
