I’m down with this. MMA in Brazil seems to be similar to Boxing in the US. It’s an escape and a way up.
In the US it’s just a means for the rich to get richer. Ain’t no poor people making it in MMA anymore. You got to have the camps and coaches to make any money. If you make the money then your making great money.
Any poor kid can find an escape in boxing and be backed financially if they have the talent. It doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to get to the top. This is very hard to do these days in US MMA.
I’m still glad that it’s alive in other parts of the world.
