UFC vet sightings at NAGA Dallas

Participated in allegedly the 2nd biggest grappling tournament in America this weekend, NAGA in Dallas. Over 1400 competitors showed up.

First spotted Guy Mezger. Still looks in fight shape. Then noticed Tra Telligman next to him, who was definitely not killed in the ring by Tim Sylvia....

At first I thought it might even be Josh Barnett, but then we saw the tell tale missing pec. At that point I speculated with my girlfriend that if Tra does have a cat, it most likely prefers to nap in said missing pec.

Tra was there to coach some moppy headed kid that got 2nd his division. Kid had a different last name than Telligman so maybe it was a nephew.

Then my girlfriend spotted Travis Lutter....he was wearing a competitor wristband but sadly was just there in coaching capacity. He did not look in fight shape...not fat or anything but he aint gettin back in the UFC anytiime soon.

Next we saw Sam Hoger....who is huge. Not ripped huge, but has a giant frame. For some reason in my mind he was a middle weight, but the guy has to be walkin around at 220+. Sam also seemed to be the most approachable and always had a smile on his face.

Saw one other guy I recognised but dont know his name. Super bulky LHW spanish guy with longish hair. Usually fights for mid-tier orgs but think he'd done UFC.

Last interesting note was in the expert division for the 50lb and under kids division the final match was Rocky vs Ivan. Rocky won rather easily.
