MFC 21: Alessio, Heath, and Eastman on Main Card of May 15th event

According to MMAMania.com and a press release from Maximum Fighting Championships, there is now a confirmation of four matchups to headline the May 15th event taking place at the River Cree Resort and Casino in Edmonton, Alberta:

Welterweight: Jake Ellenberger (19-4) vs. John Alessio (24-13)

Light Heavyweight: David Heath (11-4) vs. Travis "The Gladiator" Galbraith (16-6)

Light Heavyweight: Aron "The Poster Boy" Lofton (6-1) vs. Marvin "The Beastman" Eastman (15-9)

Middleweight: Bryan Baker (9-1) vs. Brad Zazulak (6-0)

MFC continues to put together some solid matchups for such a small outfit in Canada, but they are definitely expanding their possibilities by bringing in some bigger names. While this card doesn't have Paul Daley on it, it does feature some matchups of some more unknown fighters that casual fans may want to check out.

If you're up in the Edmonton area and need an MMA fix, this is definitely one of the better Canadian promotions putting on solid cards with known fighters and up-and-coming prospects. Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster CA for the May 15th event.

That was apparently never going to happen. It was just a rumour.

Yeah

I tried finding some information, but this seems to be the main card. Alessio vs. Ellenberger is set as a Superfight, so they’ll either use one of the other three as a main event, or they are working on something else.
