Waiting for Bellator? Avoid Sherdog

With no live feed anywhere for the new Bellator fight first show last night, people all over the MMA community are trying to avoid spoilers.  Sherdog.com not only has spoilers, but has results in the title of articles on the front page.  This is simply irresponsible.  By all means have a spoiler for those spoiler hawks, but NOT in the title on the front page.  I think they will ruin a lot of peoples days.  They need to change the title of there article promtly.  Its not like this event went out live in any way.  It is bad form to have the results in the title.

Sherdog can't get a break

Heh Heh, Uhm I really don’t mind spoilers all that much after the show has been broadcast. Do they even have plans to broadcast this thing anywhere, internet or TV?

I think it will be on ESPN Deportes tonight and on the internet Wednesday in english.

I remember them doing this for UFC 89. I was pissed when I saw all the results in the headlines of stories.

Argh. I've been spoiled.

Only on the main events thankfully. I sure wish they wouldn’t do that.

Who would’ve expected a news outlet to report… news? I’m flabbergasted!

between news and a entertainment event spoiler

even espn has the sense to warn hide spoilers on delayed events.

There is no difference. That is why BE.com had the DREAM 7 results a full week before it aired on HDNet. Were you bent out of shape over them “spoiling” that as well?

I am bent out of shape?

But to answer your question..I could not care less if someone has spoilers…just hide it in the body. No need for a headline spoiler.

Its common sense….

1 week vs 1 day is a big difference. And DREAM was broadcast somwhere (at least). I’m grateful for the warning here and probably will visit sherdog less often.
