Report: UltimateBet grabs UFC sponsorship deal, Full Tilt Poker out

Zach Arnold has a story over at FightOpinion.com that sources Bluff Magazine regarding the potential that UltimateBet has ousted Full Tilt Poker as one of the high profile sponsors of the UFC:

“We’re mega excited to have our logo associated with Kampmann, a master of his craft and one of UFC’s world class fighters,” said an UltimateBet spokesperson. “Our collaboration with ‘The Hitman’ continues our inroads into some of the highest rating pay-per-view sports shows on air, and we’re pulling no punches when it comes to any opportunity to get involved with UFC.”

Obviously, if UltimateBet is beginning to sponsor fighters within the UFC and the UFC preceded this move with the banning of Full Tilt Poker from their events, it looks as if UltimateBet did, in fact, outbid Full Tilt Poker for the sponsorship deal.

All we need now is some official confirmation from the UFC.
