The Ultimate Fighter 9, Episode 5 Live Thread
Last week, Team United Kingdom fired the first shot of the season as Nick Osipczak eliminated Mark Miller via second round head kick. Team United States kicked off the house pranks by...writing on a t-shirt and wrestling boots? Well done, fellas. UK coach Michael Bisping continued to needle the US side drawing particular ire from Demarques Johnson.

I wonder when the coaches will get started on each other. Dana said the coaches were worse than the fighters this time. Did yall see this week’s Deadliest Warrior?
I saw it yesterday.

Oh
It’s coming, rest assured. They’re heavily prefacing it with Bisping’s competitive behavior. Hendo is definitely the type of guy that won’t put up with that shit for long. I already want him to mash his face in, so I’ll definitely be in full-fledged “kill Bisping” mode by the end of the season.
I poop rainbows.
For reference
My profile picture is of a Japanese-Brazilian and a Lebanese-American. So maybe you should have said some people don’t need much excuse to dislike the English. Which is not to say that’s true, either!
I poop rainbows.

Yeah...
that’s odd considering that he’s been pushing his fighters to not retaliate when it comes to the stupid “write on your clothes” pranks of the yanks…

Say wha?
I didn’t say anything about that. I’ve never liked Bisping, and his interactions with the American team fighters is grating.

I'm just saying...
I thought more people would start to like the guy after him pushing for people to be adults.

That's fine and good
But that’s not what I don’t like about him. It’s pretty clear that people either love him or hate him. I mean, I don’t hate the guy, but I root against him, and I certainly will be when he fights Hendo.
I poop rainbows.

Last season burnt us out on Ultimate Fighter. My wife and I watched it religiously through last season, but we only watched the first episode this time around. It isn’t that we consciously decided not to watch. We just haven’t watched.
Honestly, is it worth hunting it down online and catching up?
Last weeks fight was...

I'd say so...
This season is more entertaining than the last 2 or 3, for sure. The seemingly lame, UK vs US gimmick actually adds an interesting dynamic.
Thanks for the input. I have a HUGE (700+ page) deadline tomorrow night. I’ll probably catch up this next week since I’m taking a few days off.
wow man
i dont feel so bad about having finals over the next week now

lol. It’s not like I have to write 700 pages tonight. Fortunately, I figured out that procrastination was great in school but that it’s impossible to blow off something this big and come out at the end with a job. I wrote everything over the past few months. I just have to make sure they’re good now.
