Ronaldo "Jacaré" Souza (10-2) and Jason "Mayhem" Miller (22-6) will rematch at DREAM.9 on May 26...

Ronaldo "Jacaré" Souza (10-2) and Jason "Mayhem" Miller (22-6) will rematch at DREAM.9 on May 26 for Gegard Mousasi's vacated DREAM Middleweight title. Tatame broke word of the match a few weeks ago, and DREAM made it official today at the Aoki/Fedor press conference.

The first meeting between the BJJ black belt and fighter-turned-reality show host came in June of last year; Souza won via unanimous decision and went on to defeat Zelg Galešić before being upset by Mousasi with a stunning upkick knockout in the tournament finals. Miller returned from "retirement" last week, defeating Kala "Kolohe" Hose for the Kingdom MMA middleweight strap. "Mayhem" has stated that his goal is to win three titles in 2009.

[UPDATE] Just noticed on DREAM's site - since this is a title fight, it’ll be one 10-minute round followed by two 5-minute rounds.

Nothing against Jacare, cuz he’s awesome too, but I really hope Mayhem can pull it out this time. Either way, I suspect a fight that would match the excitement of their first encounter.
