In the link provided above, Bobby Lashley has confirmed his next opponent. The TNA Wrestling business. That is correct, Bobby Lashley has signed a contract (details unkown at this time) to be apart of Total Non-Stop Action's Wrestling business. I am not saying this will 100% effect his MMA training considering TNA only wrestles about 5 total days out of the month, but, this should once and for all take Bobby Lashley's name out of The Ultimate Fighter hat. Great advice management......

Well he can still fight MMA and wrestle 5 times a month if desired. Will he wrestle 5 times a month? Probably not, like I said, the details were not fully released, and he had been in long discussions before with TNA (since he is friends with aspiring MMA fighter Kurt Angle) but to me, this knocks him down a lot with credibility with fans.
seriously….these guys get paid virtually nothing for their MMA fights. Are we so self centered that we’re going to start trying to tell extremely large grown men how and how much money they can make? if he was a star this probably wouldnt be an issue as he was be making a decent living, but he’s not, he’s just another wrestler trying to build his name in this sport
Lashley made 30/10 in his second fight. It is quite the non norm.
I will play my game beneath the spin light.

This isn’t on the side it’s him going back to pro wrestling. Yes TNA doesn’t keep the schedule the WWE does but pro wrestling is hard on the body and there is more that goes into it than just showing up for a fight 5 or 6 times a month. Depending on how long he signed with TNA for he might just be done with MMA. I just hope they don’t try and give him some silly MMA gimmick (TNA is also on SpikeTV).
BOBBY LASHLEY MAKES HIS TNA WRESTLING DEBUT AT LOCKDOWN
Former World Champion Bobby Lashley made his surprise TNA Wrestling debut at Lockdown! After the Lethal Lockdown match, the lights in the arena went out and a video played introducing Lashley to TNA! Lashley came out and Kurt Angle was shown laughing in the ring! Is there some kind of connection between Lashley and Angle? How will he fit into the power struggle between The Main Event Mafia and TNA Frontline?

Creator of the FightMatrix rating system.
Meltzer says he’s:
a) Not signed with TNA yet;
b) If he does he’ll still fight MMA
c) Mulling over an offer to fight Bob Sapp in June in Biloxi, and Sapp confirms this.

Heck they should just have him fight Bob Sapp on TNA.
I’m sure he is going to say he will do both but it will be really interesting to see how long he actually sticks to that, even keeping to a TNA schedule is going to take away from MMA training and it will pretty much rule out him moving on the next level with any of the big MMA orgs for the time being.
Bobby Lashley
hey let’s look at the big picture here. TNA Wrestling is on Spike TV,and they draw about 1.7 million viewers per week. You can build Lashley up from inside TNA to the wrestling/MMA fan. Better yet you now could do a MMA vs Wrestling champion showdown(Lenser v Lashley). Besides Lashley will probably only wrestle one match in TNA. I really think SPIKE TV is ,footing some of the money so LASHLEY would appear in TNA.
