McFedries-Irvin Moved to UFC 98 Main Card, Larson-Wilson Confirmed
HT: weoweoweo for the graphic
The UFC has officially confirmed a previously rumored bout between welterweights Brock Larson and Chris Wilson at UFC 98 in May. Larson is replacing Josh Koscheck who suffered a foot injury earlier this month in training. Although the Koscheck-Wilson bout was originally scheduled to appear on the event's televised main card, with Larson in as a replacement, the fight is now being bumped down to the preliminary card.
In its place, a middleweight tilt between sluggers Drew McFedries and James Irvin (making his 185-lb debut) has been promoted to the main card. The official bout order for UFC 98 now includes:
Main Card:
-Rashad Evans (16-0-1) vs. Lyoto Machida (14-0) - for light-heavyweight title
-Matt Hughes (42-7) vs. Matt Serra (11-5)
-James Irvin (14-5) vs. Drew McFedries (7-5)
-Yushin Okami (23-4) vs. Dan Miller (11-1)
-Sean Sherk (33-3-1) vs. Frankie Edgar (9-1)
Preliminary Card Bouts:
-Brock Larson (25-2) vs. Chris Wilson (14-5)
-Tim Hague (9-1) vs. Patrick Barry (4-0)
-Phillipe Nover (7-1) vs. Kyle Bradley (13-6)
-Andre Gusmao (5-1) vs. Houston Alexander (8-4)
-Yoshiyuki Yoshida (10-3) vs. Brandon Wolff (7-3)
-George Roop (10-5) vs. David Kaplan (3-3)

I'd rather see Yoshida vs Wolff or Larson vs Wilson...
but we would get to see this fight anyway since its going to end with a flash KO… more than likely with McFederies on the receiving end.
hey, scotty, i already made a fanshot of this here.
but there’s no details on it and stuff.. so maybe you’d like to use that pic? :)
