Jason "Mayhem" Miller Speaks

2009-03-mawjmmiller007_mediumPromoted from the FanPosts by Kid Nate

Bully Beatdown host, and popular MMA figher Jason "Mayhem" Miller speaks to Jack Encarnacao of Sherdog.

On his fight with Kala Hose:

I’ll just fight him in a cautious manner and beat the piss out of him. I think I’m stronger in every direction. I’m going to beat him on my feet; I’m going to beat him everywhere. I think that people are underestimating me and my standup game, and think that I’m just going to go and double leg the guy and try to submit him. I know he’s trained for that. Let’s see if he’s trained his kickboxing.

On fighting in Japan:

I’m still hooked up with Japan. I’ve still got that going on for me. If everything goes well, you’ll be seeing me in Dream very, very soon.

On a potential rematch with Jacare for the Vacant DREAM MW title:

When I fought "Jacare," I fought him all busted up. Now I’m cool and brand new. So, time to do it again, you know.

I gave that fight away and I feel like an idiot for it. I was so pissed at myself. I just played into his game and I was a moron for it. I’m fighting with an ego like, "I can tap Jacare out." ..You know, you do some dumb stuff like that, you deserve to lose.

On how he got the Bully Beatdown hosting gig:

YouTube superstar. They found me doing a funny interview on there with some Mormon kid, and I’m digging into him. They just figured I was the perfect guy for this whole deal.

I know at times this is a legit excuse but its way over used.

On the other hand, the “I fought like an egotistical jackass” excuse is frequently true and wildly underused. I always appreciate a fighter admitting when they fought stupid.

I find it really hard not completely dislike Miller

He just seems to rub me the wrong way all the time.

Plus, I’d like to official dub that colored streak he likes to do in his hair the “asshat strreak” since every fighter that does it is…is well (trying hard not to fighter bash)…not a favorite.

Good to know...

he got a hosting gig because of that disgusting behavior during the interview with the Mormon kid. Where he not only acted like an asshole but recycled material from South Park of all things.

I normally like the guy but that interview was among my least favorite moments in MMA.

I can only stand Mayhem in small doses but I love seeing him fight.

How’d you get a job helping guys get revenge on bullies?

By being a bully asshole to a mormon kid…

Ah…MTV…

It’s not worth a big freakout. I just thought it was a real dick move on his part. I’ll see if I can’t dig it up.

It’s obvious he’s not a professional, just a guy trying his best in the shitty situation that Miller put him in. Yeah, he’s annoying but he didn’t deserve that.

i know, and i dont disagree..

i just hated the A-B-C line.. and that was before mayhem gave him shit..

Pretty much.

Yeah, he’s annoying me way more that Jason did. I think if I was being interviewed by that guy I’d have to be a little bit of a douchebag too.

I guess my thing...

is that he could have ended the interview rather than digging at the kid. It’s not the worst thing I’ve ever seen which is why I didn’t throw a shit fit over it. I just thought it was unnecessary

Thanks, they are both getting on my nerves lol but he clearly is trying to outsmart the Mormon guy for the lulz and gives him no respect. I guess the stuff about being noticed thanks to this interview in another shit he made up, or I don’t get life anymore.

Good to know that Mayhem is going back to DREAM soon. Hope he gets through Hose unscathed and then on to DREAM.9.

bully beatdown is a pretty entertaining show…i think its decent..bout the only thing i can stand on mtv. Mayhem is a good fighter and that match with jacare was a good and very competitive fight. cant wait for the rematch. WAR MAYHEM

My favorite Mayhem moment is a tie between GSP beating him into a pulp for fifteen minutes and Trigg soccer kicking him in the face.
