Chris Nelson positively spoils you guys. We are the ONLY site in MMA doing this. Nelson is the fucking man and that’s a fact.

true true..
although im getting worried about chris and his sleeping habits haha.
unless maybe he’s hiding out in asia and pretends he’s staying up to watch these cards hahaha..
american cards start here at 11am, and the japanese cards only have a 1 hour difference from the live event.. Chris maybe you should move in here in the philippines so you could watch MMA and get normal rest hours.. haha :D

Damn, you’re in the perfect location. I love watching fights in the morning/afternoon (like the UFC’s UK cards).
But yeah, I’ve never been much of a sleeper, so don’t worry about me none. :)

Giorgio Petrosyan vs. Dzhabar “Gengis Khan” Askerov
I want to see Petrosyan run another boxing clinic on someone’s face.

Askerov actually lost the K-1 MAX Scandinavia tournament last year that was a qualifier for this, but the guy he lost to (Marcus Oberg) was told he couldn’t compete in K-1 MAX due to his tattoos.

And yet they just brought over Tyrone Spong. Crazy.

Some guys at Kakutougi were saying it’s because Oberg’s tattoos look too much like Yakuza tattoos. Spong’s really don’t. Anyways, he got a spot on Contender Asia 2 which is a good consolation prize.

Petrosyan is definitely the favorite
But Dhzabar has vicious one punch KO power. It’s going to be quite interesting.

An event on tuesday night is going to be tough to stay up for, but this is going to rule. I will figure something out.
And I know it’s lame to say, but Askerov was awesome on The Contender. I must stay awake to see him and Buakaw/Dida.
