Predicting Frank Shamrock vs. Nick Diaz

Sherdog.com talks to many professional MMA fighters to get their opinion on who will win tomorrow's Frank Shamrock vs. Nick Diaz fight for Strikeforce. Most professionals picked Shamrock and this one resonated the most with me:
Leigh Remedios: Frank by close decision. I think he’ll work kicks with angles to frustrate him, and his mind games will probably work well on Nick, who is quite hot-headed. Both are too tough to be stopped in a three-rounder -- Nick because of his chin and Frank because of his ego.

The complete lack of takedowns on Frank’s part made me think it was a work.

in case you haven't noticed
Frank hasn’t been taking people down in years. Both of his knees are trashed. He was awful on the ground against Renzo.
Also Cung Le has a stronger amateur wrestling background than Frank.
And what kind of work ends with a shattered arm?

yeah...
he doesn’t block those kicks with his arm and it’s a work that ends with him in a heap on the ground. It’s one of the least likely fights I’ve ever seen to have been a work

On a side note, for how long has Frank had braces on his teeth? I just noticed them and it seems strange to get them at his age.

He’s headlining against Lawler in June.
