Steve Cofield has a brand new interview with Frank Mir here:

This is a really interesting interview. It looks like he can't say anything, but when he said that "it would be better if I sit down, but things don't always work out that way" it really made me wonder if they are going to go ahead with the fight as planned.

this sucks either way if the fight goes on or is pushed back Mir has a built in excuse so you know there is gonna be a 3rd fight specially since they would be tied 1-1 with a Lesnar win

I think that if Rampage loses, we could see Machida v. Evans on 98 and both Lesnar v. Mir and GSP v. Alves on 100.

If Rampage wins, we could see GSP v. Alves on 98 and both Rampage v. Evans and Lesnar v. Mir on 100.

Or we could just see damaged goods on 98…

i think they might be pushing him to fight at ufc 98 just for the card itselfs. He looks really down in this interview… all questions will be answered tonight.

Does anyone remember the interview Frank did where he openly admitted to spreading false injury rumors about himself? Wouldn’t be shocked if that’s the case here.
