Roan "Jucao" Carneiro (12-8) will embark on his post-UFC career when he takes on veteran journeyman Ronald Jhun (22-23-2) at the new Shine MMA show in Ohio on May 9th. The Brazilian jiu jitsu wizard went 2-3 in the UFC and was cut by the promotion late last year following disappointing losses to Kevin Burns and Ryo Chonan.

Fellow Brazilian Antônio "Samuray" Mendes (16-4) will face Antwain Britt (6-2). Mendes was also cut by the UFC after his January TKO'ing at the hands of Eric Schafer; Britt is fresh off a February 21st UWC loss where he was submitted by Jamal Patterson in 44 seconds.
