I think if Wolfslair can become a staple MMA camp ala AKA, ATT, BTT, it will do wonders for the sport in the UK.

I have a hard time believing

that they’re really a world class camp. For all of his scumbaggery, Juanito did seem to have a good handle on bringing out the best in Rampage.

I find it hard to believe Juanito’s teaching can’t be duplicated elsewhere. The guy was no rocket scientist.

this is true

but he did handle Rampage pretty well…..up until the Forrest fight.

Hence the phrase “if Wolfslair can become”

Also, I think they became worldclass as soon as Rampage said he was training there.

if rampage was training in my garage

would it be world class?

Well, if you had Bisping, Kelly, and Kongo it would be a good start!

Perhaps, but what has Rampage lost from this move? He’s got a more focused environment, brought his old training partners with, got new ones, and got dedicated coaches in each discipline. A dedicated S&C coach is long overdue. It doesn’t appear that his boxing has deteriorated one bit, and having better technical ground skill can help him avoid giving away rounds like Rd 2 against Forrest.

Where’s Kongo?

Rogan made good on his promise and kidnapped him and for 6 months he’s only allowed to wrestle and roll.

I would figuratively and literally shit my pants if Rampage ever pulled off a wristlock while going for an armbar. Or ever.

Yeah that was kind of surprising to see. I wonder if they were just horsing around though.

Yeah, who got the final Death Blow? 'Cause I thought that Hawaiian guy had it comin' to him. - C. K.

the low bridge

i love to see that if the guys in your fight camp arent low birding each other then you are obviously not a real team

Lol

I like how Rampage looks like he’s about to laugh while going for that armbar.

and BTW,

they have a loong way to go to even be compared to the 3 headed giant (ATT, Jacksons, XCouture).

I'll compare them

Isn’t funny a couple years post-PRIDE that there are supposedly no more upper echelon international MMA Camps anymore. Sure there more fighters in the big game from the “big 3” but the UFC is still a US show, but do we really believe the only reason that is is cause the fighters are better? I mean a 1/3 to 1/2 of each card is TUF alumni, a show that often turns down fighters for being too good.

Quality of fighters I’ll compare most any Camp with Wolfslayer other than maybe Jackson’s.
