Nasty headkick…

I wish Aleks could have a higher profile – he’s an awesome striker, but he’s been relegated to small shows, even before the Hep scare.

That gif of Aleks/Magomedov is essentially the whole fight.

I appreciate the recs, I don’t mind taking a little time to make some GIFs knowing people will enjoy them and get a chance to check out some fights they otherwise wouldn’t. Now that there is such an abundance of MMA happening, much of it televised in one form or another, expect a few more of these.

P.S. Check out these XMMA 7 GIFs if you haven’t already… some rad finishes there.

So you call MMANews your home?

by Simco on Mar 30, 2009 3:30 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Yeah, I admin the forums and occasionally (not often) write some stuff for the front page. There are a lot of Canadians on the board.

It had a good board a couple years ago.
I liked when Noob was actively helping the grappling section.
He may still be for all I know. It just got too Sherdoggish for me. : /
I still update the gi review thread when I get a new one.

I have never posted much in the subforums, but the main one is still going strong. I would contest the “sherdoggish” comment, our forum tends to have a nice mix of long-time fight fans and respectful newcomers.

Who wins the decision one – the slammer or the slammed?

Aleks looked like he was in trouble in the GiF, why did the fight get stopped?

Thank You Smoogy

Excellent!

If you're not submitting, you're just rolling around with another guy.

I’m sure we all appreciate this in some way or another…
