I don’t think it’s “blue collar” versus “white collar.” It’s gaining short-term benefits in ratings through shocking crap instead of cultivating a diverse, intelligent portfolio of viewers through thoughtful programming that’s beneficial to the UFC and MMA in the long-term.

I'm certain
That the profile of the person in tune with that programming is blue collar, on average of course. Yes, the tactics by Spike TV aren’t exclusively appealing to them, but that type of programming disproportionately cultivates that sort of fan interest.
