Matthew Riddle vs. Dan Cramer at UFC 101

Following the news about CB Dollaway vs. Tom Lawlor at UFC 100,  another TUF-centric bout is being reported by MMA Junkie as welterweights Matt Riddle and Dan Cramer will clash at UFC 101 in Philadelphia in August:

"The Ultimate Fighter 7" cast members Matthew Riddle (2-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and Dan Cramer (1-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) will meet at UFC 101, an event expected to take place Aug. 8 in Philadelphia.

The news come from FiveOuncesofPain.com, though the report didn't specify whether bout agreements have been signed.

The fight will likely end up on the un-televised preliminary card of the pay-per-view event.

Riddle and Cramer both competed as middleweights on Quinton Jackson's team on TUF 7, while the two also shared a completed lack of pro experience prior to show.

Nicknamed "Chipper" by Jackson for his ever-present grin, Riddle (2-0, 2-0 UFC) was one of the more colorful contestants on the show, and made a huge statement with a brutal KO of Dan Simmler in the first round of the tournament, that left Simmler groaning, and at a loss for memory, along with a broken jaw.  Riddle's inexperience got the best of him in a subequent submission loss to current middleweight Tim Credeur, but after joining Arizona Combat Sports and dropping to 170, Riddle rebounded with a unanimous decision over arch-nemesis Dante Rivera at the Finale, followed by another impressive decision win over seasoned veteran Steve Bruno in February.

Cramer (1-0,1-0 UFC) was teased as a pretty-boy jock from New England on the show, but made an impression by TKOing favorite, Luke Zachrich in the quarter-finals.  Although, like Riddle, he also ended up getting tapped by jiu-jitsu ace Tim Credeur in the semi-finals, Cramer was given a second shot by the UFC in January at UFC 94, where he showed off his new American Top Team training and submsision defense, by winning a split decision over talented grappler Matt Arroyo.

Riddle should have a good amount of crowd support behind him after growing up in Southeastern PA. This should be a really good undercard fight to get the night started.
