Cole Miller: I’m going to walk to the middle of the octagon, and I’m going to beat [Junie's] @ss.
From an interview we did with him over the weekend:
The MMA Fiend: Without giving away too much, what is your game plan heading into the fight with Junie?
Cole Miller: I’m going to walk to the middle of the octagon, and I’m going to beat his ass.
The MMA Fiend: Do you see any specific strengths or weaknesses he has?
Cole Miller: Strengths? Probably that he’s not a smart fighter so he really doesn’t know or comprehend that I’m better than him at everything. Weaknesses? He’s mentally weak.
The MMA Fiend: It has been pretty well publicized that Junie said your submission win over Jorge Gurgel was luck. Does trash talk like that help motivate you?
Cole Miller: Not always. But for this camp it was very motivating. It just shows me how elementary his knowledge of jiu jitsu is, especially since I was going for that same spider guard triangle setup the whole fight.

Hmm..
I hope for Cole’s sake that he doesn’t turn the fight into a slugfest. Junie’s striking appeared much cleaner at the TUF finale, due in large part to his evidently better cardio. Cole should undoubtedly shoot and work for a sub. Hopefully he’s just talking Junie into getting too wild for his own good.

Just judging by his opinion of Junie’s ground game, I think he’s planning on taking it to the mat. Either way though, this fight is shaping up to be a war.

Unless Junie is completely out of his mind, he’s been working hard on his takedown defense. And if he has been concentrating on that, he’s got some of the best wrestlers around to train him in that department. If that’s the case, and he stays upright, I think he pounds out Miller pretty quickly.

This is Junie we’re talking about here, lol. But yeah, you make good points. I think it could go either way.

I don't think Junie is crazy;
I think he’s a prick. I’ve known a few Junie’s in my day and I’m pretty sure he’s in total control of his ridiculous behavior.

I know he isn’t crazy, I was just messing around. From what I have heard from Shawn Thompkins and everyone around him, he is a completely different guy than what we saw during TUF.

Ironic that Miller is the one talking more trash and showing lesser class than Junie…
A man should never waste an opportunity to keep his mouth shut.

Shocking assessment.

I don't think it is a fake fued.
Junie said Cole’s submission win over Gurgel was luck, and Cole obviously took offense.
But even so, trash talk sells fights. We might not like that aspect of the sport, but it is a fact.

Only if it wasn’t in the UFC.

that's impossible
Fedor doesn’t feud with anybody. He lacks that part of his emo-chip.
