I listened
You failed to mention that you think that all the people making comments(not the posts) on bloody elbow are mindless douche bags, not in those words, but also go on to say how thankful you are that they are there making commentsand carrying the site. That was rich.

Well, I am. I am very thankful people are here commenting. They don’t have to. They can easily go somewhere else. I’m just sick of bad shtick. The two aren’t mutually exclusive. At all.

I’m not surprised in Ken is broke and fighting merely for money. It’s a shame it’s come to that.

Given the terms between the brothers, I’m surprised Frank didn’t claim Ken was eating babies in addition to steroids.

Flaky MMA Fighters
I had a podcast for about a week and a half, and we had a few guys on. The first guy we were supposed to interview was Mayhem. Now, being this upstart podcaster, I’m all nervous about talking to this guy. So, I call him up and get his voicemail.
Well, ok, that’s odd. So, we end up exchanging texts, trying to set up a new interview time after he trained that day. I call him back at our newly agreed upon time, and again, voicemail.
So, that sucked. Jake Shields flaked on us, too. Never answered his phone.
George Sotiropoulos answered right away. You talk about BJ being a notorious flake, but my favorite interview was with his best friend, Troy Mandaloniz. I had to call him twice to get a hold of him, but it worked out well for us.

I feel you
I’ve interviewed Jay Hieron…called him…he was walking thru a mall or something and was like let me call you back…I was like….“oh boy…this will be fun”…to my surprise he called me back in like 15 mins and we got it done…
I interviewed Din Thomas last year….and it took like a week of back and forth messenging/calls but we got it done.
I’m working on one now that could be a doozy….

Shtick
Take my wife please. Just kidding. In all seriousness, great show Luke. Thank you. I hope more members of the bloodyelbow community are supporting our fearless leader.

I agree with you 100%. A lot of our “posters” have started to turn this into a bash/hate fest. Its a shame that I have to dig thru posts now to find actual comments about the article.
The hate spewed from certain members is incredible. I refrain from posting my opinion about certain topics because the backlash and bullshit isn’t worth it. Having to defend any and every thought you have to a keyboard warrior is just tiresome and futile.
Its amazing that the same people beat the same dead horse over and over and over.
This site is a better place having people like mmalogic posting here than not. He takes a lot of heat for being “pro” UFC. I prefer his business logic over the BS that is thrown his way in an attempt to discredit him because of the anti UFC push.
Some of our members who I disagree with regularly pose interesting points but I am to a point that I now ignore their entire posts/comments due to the amount of hate/rhetoric .
Over the last 6 months or so BE has become home to a few people who push hatred for fighters/promoters and even editors. I read somewhere yesterday where a poster challenged someone to a fist fight.
I know there are a lot of people who share my thoughts (friends/family) and its terrible that some of the rants I read here are about as informative as a 13 year old with a mic on Xbox live.
Keep up the good work.

I’m always late to these podcasts unfortunately.
