Kazushi Sakuraba will participate in DREAM.11 - details forthcoming. UPDATE #1 - Alright, so, even though we're three days from the event, Saku's opponent has not been announced - only the fact that he'll participate. We'll have to find out some time in the next 48 hours, since there's a public weigh-in on Monday. In the video - which is apparently a parody of the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion - Saku is told that he'll face Katsuyori Shibata, then a gaijin (foreigner), then Funaki (at which he laughs). The video is left off "to be continued."

During his Featherweight Grand Prix 1st Round victory over Hideo Tokoro last weekend, Daiki "DJ.taiki" Hata (11-5-3) reinjured his right eye, which was previously damaged in his DEEP qualifier bout against Shoji Maruyama and caused the Hata-Tokoro bout to be scrapped from DREAM.7. Event Producer Keiichi Sasahara said that Hata will have to be medically cleared to fight before the May quarterfinals, and depending on the circumstances, there is a possibility of DREAM calling on an alternate.
