lol @ masking tape over all the “SHAMROCK VS. LASHLEY”s on the backdrop
Who’s the snake oil salesman that thinks people care where he grew up in Illinois?

I think it’s funny how Guida thinks he’s somebody. He’s a nobody TC about to get destroyed.

I kinda like the pre-fight hype, not enough to pay for this side-show, but enough to laugh about it.
Good news is, Guida doesn’t have to worry about making weight and we don’t have to watch him writhe around in nothing but a towel….the horror.

How are they in the same weight class? Jason Guida is almost as big as one of Lashley’s arms.

I find it funny that
Guida is the one talking about “faking it” when he is clearly bullshitting us with this fake ass heal stuff.
17-19?!!! Good God man, give it up!
Can’t wait for Lashleys 2nd highlight video on Sunday morning. I have plans or else I’d stream it just to see him PWNTED :P

I actually gained some respect for Bobby Lashley off of this. I’ll be rooting for him.

Say what you will about Guida but atleast he should be more of a test for Lashley than Shamrock would have been.

No, just…no.

"at least he should be more of a test for Lashley than Shamrock would have"
What? lol
At least Shamrock would have a shot at submitting him, doubtful but way more of a chance than Guida. Lashley is going to destroy Guida.
Arguing on the internet is like being in the special olympics, even when you win you are still retarded.

Does anyone remember the show Man Vs Beast? It was probably the best/worst thing ever.
How would Lashley do against a raccoon and two eagles?

Apparently you haven’t seen Guida on TUF and in his fight in (Adrenaline?)
If you're not submitting, you're just rolling around with another guy.

Or the Mamed Khalidov fight. (Skip to around the 6:00 mark.)

I love that fight. It’s got a headkick from the ground and a standing rolling kneebar attempt. Good stuff.

That was really strange. I want to see Nelson vs. Monson, though.
by Cannon Jacques on Mar 19, 2009 2:10 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Me as well
I felt bad for Nelson during the Arlovski fight, I remember disagreeing with the ref a couple of times. I think Monson is still going to submit him

At least Guida won’t have to cut to make weight for this fight. Which means he won’t be rolling around on the floor naked trying to throw up.

maybe he will be if wookalarman gets his wish

Hey Guida
I’ll give you $100 bucks for all your fight gear after Lashley smashes you into an embarrassing retirement. You shouldn’t need it anymore.

Lashley got punked.

picking a fight with these guys because they were fake wrestlers isnt smart. Guida go talk to heath herring. he did something similar and got his face broke. Lashley’s swallows you whole. this is gonna be a massacre. i just wish lashley could get a fight against somebody who is actually a decent fighter. a guy who was 0-0 and now a guy thats 17-19 and isnt even a heavyweight. a win for lashley proves nothing IMO. i mean the “can” brock fought in japan was at least a silver medalist in jujitsu.

Say what you want about Guida but he steps into the cage and puts his life on the line because he loves this sport just like the rest of us. He was plainly just trying to hype the fight and get some ppv buys and do his share of promoting. He basically spoke the truth and did a good job getting people talking about it.. You guys act like he’s 0-16 he still won just under half of his PROFESSIONAL fights, Im getting the impression you don’t realize how much work even a subpar pro puts into his preparation before a big fight. He did’nt make weight on tuf and looked like a doushe but the guy can still fight and still has an outside shot of putting Lashley to sleep!

Taintweight Tantrum Champion
That you go to work and do your job does not equate to respect for your personality. Nor a desire in others to see you succeed. Once a man shoves a ref in childish discontent he is highly unlikely to ever receive respect from the public until he displays anything other than obnoxious behavior. We are a (anti-)social species after all.
However, this does not mean Lashley is going to be able to beat him with his poor balance while striking. Only that others want him to beat him.
