Randleman Returns

A guilty pleasure, but this is great news.

Time for the inevitable...

Randleman looking impressive and beating someone you don’t expect him to…followed by Randleman losing to people he shouldn’t.

YAY!

(but seriously…yay! I like Kev)

Is that...

when you have big muscles and jump really high? Because if so I think he has it

No

Zoo-zitsu is the art of tripping and knocking yourself unconscious before a big fight.

Shamrock is a blue belt in that.

I’ll say yes because the Hammer House is constantly evolving and trying new things.

Hellz yeah.

GSP should clearly do his entire camp with Hammer House before the Alves fight.

Remember when..

they totally stepped up their cardio program? I don’t think I’ve seen a Hammer House associated fighter gas for at least 5 years

New steroid cocktails?

Seriously glad he’s back, but hope they don’t put him up against anybody good.

The las three comments are priceless. But seriously this guy is an athletic freak, he just doesn’t have enough tools in the toolbag

Imagine all the people ...

..who would line up to see you if you announced that you were finding an actual MMA camp to train with.

Randleman

You know, I really want to see Randleman fight Houston Alexander.

Only

if Rampage is a guest commentator, so we can hear endless references to black-on-black crime.

I remember one time watching this video of Rampage saying that if Kevin Randleman got with a really good camp that he could be a champion again.

Yeah that’s when they asked him who punched harder and disappointed them by not saying wanderlei but randleman.

when is the last time randleman fought in the states??

by dbcb on Mar 12, 2009 12:44 PM EDT reply actions

In October 2006

At Pride 32, when Shogun leglocked the shit out of him.

by Scott Haber on Mar 12, 2009 12:46 PM EDT up reply actions

Followed by Randleman using fake urine in his piss test.

by ilostmydog on Mar 12, 2009 1:08 PM EDT up reply actions

yeah what ever happened with that? that is why I brought it up because I didn’t know if he had come back since then…

by dbcb on Mar 12, 2009 1:13 PM EDT up reply actions

His fighter’s license got revoked. I think he said he submitted fake urine because he was on antibiotics and painkillers from a surgery he had. Can’t remember exactly. I assume he’d have to apply for a fighter’s license in Cali to fight and he’d have to piss clean before they gave him one.

by ilostmydog on Mar 12, 2009 1:22 PM EDT up reply actions

He came close to major organ failure too. He went into the hospital for dialysis a while back and had some sort of infection. Not sure of the details.

by bubbafat on Mar 12, 2009 1:34 PM EDT reply actions

didn’t he have some serious staph infection too??

by dbcb on Mar 12, 2009 2:42 PM EDT up reply actions

correct

His side looked like a humvee post IED. He had disgusting, gaping holes all over the place.

Strikeforce LHWs?

Babalu
Feijao
The Monster
Blueberry Muffin
Southworth
Ruiz

And possibly:
The Snake
Suganuma
Henman
Shane DLS

Not a bad start…

by MMASuPreMaCy on Mar 12, 2009 1:43 PM EDT reply actions

Oops, Blueberry is a HW.

I don’t think Mo has any reason to come to the States, not for a while.
He can stay in Japan, wear wrestling shoes and blast chumps to a 20-0 record and fat UFC contract.

You know in the UFC

You can tape your feet muay thai style and put grippy stuff on the bottom of the tape. Works just like wrestling shoes. I think people don’t know its not against the rules thats why you don’t see it more often. I saw that on a random facts thing once. Only like 1 guy has done it.

by ItBurnzWhenIP on Mar 12, 2009 4:09 PM EDT up reply actions

Stikeforce Light Heavyweights

Babalu and Randleman add a measure of credability, to extent to which Randleman can be taken seriously in 2009. The rest, however, read like a list of alternates from TUF 8.

Perhaps Feijao will do well for himself in the future. It will be difficult to prove himself with Babalu representing the only legitimate contender amongst Strikeforce’s ranks.

Is “Shane DLS” Shane Del Rosario?

"BJ on the BE" - Kierkegaard

by Brett Jones on Mar 12, 2009 3:13 PM EDT up reply actions

is randleman even really adding anything though… especially somewhere where they test???

by dbcb on Mar 12, 2009 5:18 PM EDT up reply actions

Feijao an alternate in TUF?
Wow! Really?

I would pick Feijao to beat Wandy, Forrest, and Rashad right now.
:)

Yup, meant Shane Del Rosario.

by MMASuPreMaCy on Mar 12, 2009 5:40 PM EDT up reply actions

That’s just crazy. Feijao is a badass, but he’s a prospect and nowhere near Forrest or Rashad’s level.

Ha, trianed by Silva, Machida, and Nogs, he is very underestimated by many.
We will see soon my friends! :)

Forrest, Rashad, and Wandy matchup really good for Feijao.

by MMASuPreMaCy on Mar 12, 2009 9:24 PM EDT up reply actions

P.S.

When did Forrest elevate to this high level you guys speak of?

When he lost to Jardine, or when he beat a terrible looking Shogun, or when he squeaked by Rampage, or when he got destroyed by Rashad ?
