Dennis Siver vs. Dale Hartt at UFC 99
In a not so suprising move, the UFC is putting its only German fighter on the UFC 99 card this June in Cologne, Germany, as lightweight Dennis Siver will take on Dale Hartt according to a report from MMA Junkie:
Bout agreements were recently distributed and are being finalized this week, a source close to the negotiations told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com).
Hartt will enter hostile territory when he meets Siver, a German fighter. UFC 99 takes place June 13 at Laxness Arena in Cologne, Germany.
Siver (13-6, 2-3 UFC) has been a part of many of the United Kingdom cards for the UFC, but now, the submission and boxing specialist will get the chance to fight in front of his countrymen at Laxness Arena in June. Most recently, Siver was on the UFC 93 card in Dublin in January, where he gave Nate Mohr his proverbial pink slip out of the UFC with a brutal TKO via spinning back kick in the 3rd round.
Hartt (6-1, 1-1 UFC) is a Maine native who trains with Mark Dellagrotte at Sityodtong in Boston. In his most recent (and infamous) performance, Hartt checked the leg kick heard round the world as he gruesomely snapped Corey Hill's leg nearly in two at UFC Fights for the Troops in December, and was awarded a TKO (via injury) win.
