Do NOT Go To MMAFix For Your Betting Tips

You may end up eating dinner at your local soup kitchen:

UFC 95:

Koscheck may be the worst opponent Thiago could have been matched up against. He won’t be able to get him on the ground and therefore he won’t be able to win. Josh Koscheck by KO in the 1st round.

We hate doing this but Koscheck is on fire and he won’t lose to Thiago. We are laying the chalk. We will bet $1100 to win $200.

Whoops. Granted, nobody saw this one coming, but it's almost NEVER a good idea to put down over a grand just to win $200, and Paulo Thiago showed everyone why. And what do they mean "Koscheck is on fire"? He was 1-1 in his previous 2 fights, right?

UFC 94:

Bonnar and Dana White are boys. Dana isn’t going to set up a match where Bonnar  unexpectedly gets his ass handed to him.

Bonnar will weather the initial storm from Jones and take care of business by TKO in the second round.

We will bet $360 to win $200.

Maybe I am just biased because I'm a big Jon Jones fan and I picked him to upset Bonnar but I'm not betting on a guy at -160 who hasn't fought in over a year.

UFC 92:

When it comes to standup, Nogueira has a distinct advantage. He spent time training with the Cuban national boxing team and has displayed above average boxing in each of his last three fights. Mir on the other hand has very average hands and is yet to show any real knockout power. If Mir can keep his distance from Big Nog expect him to use his jab to setup some big kicks.

The X factor in this fight is that it is a five rounds. It is well known that Mir has had trouble with his cardio in the past so if this fight goes into the 4th or 5th round it could get interesting. Nogueria has been in several wars and he can absorb a lot of punishment. We see Mir having a tough time finishing Nogueira and the longer the fight goes on the more of an advantage Nogueira will have. We see Nogueira outlasting Mir and knocking him out. Big Nog in 5.

Hefty price to pay at -350 but we can’t find any reasons why Mir would win this fight. We will bet $550 to win $158.

I think Noguiera was pretty widely considered the pick in this fight and of course hindsight is 20/20 but it's easy to throw out $550 when you aren't actually betting real money, I just hope people don't look to them assuming they are experts and putting out real money thinking they have some easy money coming.
