I’m afraid that poster may be the most exciting thing about the main event.
Some interesting matches on this card. Miller/Maynard, Vera, Grove/Day, Hammil/Munoz.
Can’t wait for GG vs Carwin!
If you're not submitting, you're just rolling around with another guy.
I’m always hyped to see Rampage, especially now that he’s gotten his wolf on! lol Probably go to Hooters for this one. Agreed about GG vs Carwin, we get to see if Carwin is the real deal here.

errr… didn’t 93 test their brand power?
overseas event
played in the afternoon
no hype for it
no countdown
very weak card
no super headliner for the casuals…
still drew 300,000 right???
275k was the early, early, number from Meltzer. And recently, most of his estimates end up coming down over time.
I disagree with this. Hendo/Franklin is a better matchup in terms of division placement and the history of the matchup, but I think Rampage is a much much bigger star than either. I’m guessing this gets 425k buys.

It’s one hell of a free event. I’m looking forward to seeing Sanchez at lightweight. I always enjoy watching Maia. And Marquardt v. Gouveia is intriguing.

This poster breaks the mold of UFC posters. They are spending more on production these days and it is noticable.
Agreed
Hopefully by the time UFC 100 rolls around they have a new intro to the PPV’s. Maybe a white canvas for the Octagon too. It just looks nicer/ cleaner IMO. I also wondered why they never do any live shots of the beautiful Las Vegas strip during the shows when they’re there? They could do so many more small things like that, that would make it even more sweet but I guess they’re on a budget.

Yeah I’d probably be more apt to spend money on a PPV if I knew I was going to get a shot of the strip….
Naked Ring girls would be nice too. Of course thats just a fantasy, but what about skimpier outfitts? UFC Thongs FTW!!

Oh yeah
I guess the ring girls in thongs would be nice too.
O_O What?

lol Ahh you know what I mean. It would just have an overall better feel. Like on the Affliction DoR PPV they kept showing shots of outside the Honda Center.

Nice poster. Jardine is one mean-looking lawn gnome.

Well, Rashad has to get a thorough scouting report of Rampage somehwere?
Anyone else think that Rashad owes a disproportional amount of thanks to having Jardine in his camp to fight all the tough LHWs before he has to?
Does anybody think this won't end with Jardine KTFO?
Silva gave Jardine a brutal knockout, and Rampage gave Silva a brutal knockout, so I expect Jardine will receive a career-ending, scary knockout to end this one.
"It's like a flying knuckle sandwich." --Rogan
"And many men have eaten it." -- Goldy
Jardine will get KO'd.
His fights usually end with his opponent getting KO’d or more likely himself getting KO’d. I figure it’ll be more of the same for Jardine. Silva nearly killed him. I expect Rampage to decapitate him.
I’m looking forward to this card. Maybe not the best ever, but there’s still some intriguing stuff on there.
Rampage vs. Jardine could be interesting. Jardine is just so hit or miss. Sometimes he gets lit up quickly (Houston, Silva), sometimes his unorthodox style can really create difficulties for opponents (Liddell).
Really looking forward to Gonzaga/Carwin. I’m a big Carwin mark, so I’m hoping he comes out and gets a big time signature win to elevate himself into the spotlight in the HW division. He’s got the potential to really be a beast, but they’ve given him nobody of any substance so far. So I’m looking forward to him against a legitimately dangerous opponent.
Brown vs. Sell could be a good fight — not really marquee or anything, but it could be a good matchup.
Jason Brilz has a real future, too, so I’m looking forward to seeing him in action again. I saw him live at the Omaha fight night and he’s a local guy, so that one intrigues me.
Always love to watch the Barncat fight.
Not the greatest card ever, but there’s plenty of reason to tune in for it.
I am indescribably happy that the UFC seems to have done away with the ridiculous event names. So happy.
Have they?
Or are they just adding it later? Hope this is true as well! Enough with the WWE style stuff Dana…
