This is a pretty decent card. Tyson Griffin and Ricardo Almeida are on the undercard of a Wednesday Fight Night. I find that kind of odd, but Fight Nights usually feature a lot of former TUFers. Cole Miller vs. Junie Browning might be an interesting fight.

Not odd. Should be expected by now that it mainly features TUF guys.

more reality show bullshit. Lots of good fighters on the undercard so the TUF crew can hog the air time.

Ricardo Almeida vs. Matt Horwich will be a grappling clinic and Jorge Rivera vs. Nissen Osterneck should also be a entertaining stand up scrap. I hope there’s enough time for these to make the broadcast.

That’s a decent undercard. Unfortunate but understandable that Bader and Escudero get the spots. Less so with Browing, but at least Miller can ride him into some air time.

Can we petition Spike to make the broadcast 3 hours?

UFC Fight Night 18 tickets start at just $20; largest UFN attendance likely
Tickets for the event start at just $20, and they top out at just $200 for floor seats.
By comparison, tickets for “UFC 96: Jackson vs. Jardine” on March 7 range from $37 to $352.
While difficult economic conditions make ticket sales for any event an uncertainty, UFC Fight Night 18 stands to set a company record for attendance at a Fight Night event.
The Sonnet Center, which plays host to the Arena Football League’s Nashville Kats, seats up to 20,000 spectators for both end-stage and center-stage concerts. Formerly known as both the Nashville Arena and Gaylord Entertainment Center, the arena underwent a multi-million dollar renovation in 2007.
