BJ Penn Says Georges St. Pierre "a Bit Greased", But GSP Still the Better Fighter

PrintAssuming whoever runs BJ Penn's Facebook page is BJ Penn, then the UFC lightweight champion had this to say about the fight Saturday night:
It's hard to tell much, but it sounds like Penn - if Penn mans his own Facebook page - accepts the results. Stay tuned.
UPDATE: BJ (again, if he mans his own Facebook page) sounds motivated to keep fighting and apparently would like to face Kenny Florian in June:
UPDATE 2: Seriously, the comments are just out of hand at this point. I have closed them now for this post. Guys, take a deep breath and relax. And for the record, the trick to arguing over the Internet is to be nice until someone escaltes the situation or is unable to follow the evolution of the conversation. Then you ignore them and move on. Anything else is simply a waste of time.
UPDATE 3: And just like that, the status comments including Penn's have been deleted. I suppose the only way to prove I didn't fabricate these screenshots would be to contact the folks you see named here and verify what it is you see. But these screen shots are real. I guess Penn decided talking like this in "public" wasn't what he wanted to do.
UPDATE 4: No one really knows for sure, but there is some speculation that this isn't Penn's account. Penn might in fact man his own page, but it's not clear what's going on. I can say if it is a phony page, it is exceptionally well done.

that would be a classy move by BJ. Still the common theme of “he was a bit greased but kicked my ass anyway” leaves me a bit disappointed in GSP.

the part about BJ saying he lost because GSP was greased & actually get to the point of why is GSP greased in apparently more than one of his fights?

weren’t you the one just the other day saying why do we believe someone just because they say so? It is the American way. If five people all lodge the same complaint against you, you are guilty until proven otherwise.

You stated you could not believe him just because he said so. So yeah, this is basically the same issue at heart. One person denying something & people either believing blindly or not at all.

and even I cannot ignore multiple people making the same claims. Can they all just be sore losers, including Mayhem who made this claim in 2005?

Varner is accused of lying to end a fight to his advantage, and people took his word later that he wasn’t lying as proof… How in the world does that get even close to this?
None at all… Varner is offering his word as proof that he didn’t lie (see the problem?). GSPs corner is saying something was an honest mistake (see how theres no problem there?)

in five fights? This is ridiculous that five fighters make the same allegations & you refuse to even acknowledge there may be something there.

How about … anything? Saying that he has greased up in ANY fights, let alone more than one, requires proof – real proof, not Smoogys bullshit gifs which have been proven to be misleading.

No one is accusing them of lying… Where did you get that? They admit it was done, you saw the video — it was obviously not intentional.

Way to man up BJ! Glad he realizes that he is not on the same level as GSP physically to be competing at 170 and doesn’t use the vasolene as an excuse to try and act like things would of went a different way without it. I hope this is his last excursion into the 170 lb division and now he can dedicate himself to dominating and cleaning out the 155 division.
Ok so now that BJ put that to rest for all the people claiming that this was just a ruse , and that BJ was making excuses.
Can we now address the Messiah’s GSP’s greasing ways?

You truly are missing the point Myth.
GSP absolutely owned Penn. Having said that, you cannot overlook the fact that he was apparently greased up in this fight & maybe others. I would expect more from you. If Lesnar gets accused of this when he fights Mir you will be calling for his head!!
So when Lesnar
fights Mir in a few months & Mir says he was greasy we will not hear anything from you unless you see someone with globs of vaseline rubbing him down? Got it.

you are right. We should never suspect anyone of anything, especially when FIVE people all say the same thing about them. Everyone else is lying.

I just do not like hearing this many people giving the same response. So until you saw the mass graves & videos of torture you still believed Saddam, right?
Try being objective
instead of assuming anyone arguing this point is a BJ fan. Some of us are actually looking at this logically.
