Kimbo cost me 6000 fake $.
My last 300$ goes in a kongo/bj parlay.

I would if I had any
Just kidding, I just don’t play with my money, it’s tempting though.
"You talk too much, too much, too much..."
YEA!
And I lost almost everything in my betus account bc of Houston being Retarded!!! I’m on the fence, but if I had any money left to bet , I would bet that Houston got something for that loss! The Bones DQ could have really sucked, but being he was parlayed with kimbo it didn’t matter at that point. Thank God for Football!

I thought for sure I’d dumped a whole bunch of fake money onto Houston, but looking back, I must have thought better of it. I only lost money on the TUF 10 finale because of Jones being DQ’d.

Betting the house on Big Paul!
"I fight because I can’t sing, I can’t dance, and it beats working all day. Now ask me a question that doesn’t sound so fucking stupid." – Phil Baroni
I’m shocked that Struve is the favourite, he’s looked outclassed on his feet so far in his career and Buentello hasn’t been submitted in years.
yeah, seriously. I guess many MMA fans started watching after Buentello left the UFC the first time. I just put some dough on Paul, decent odds as far as I’m concerned. This could be a repeat of Buentello vs. Eilers (if I’m lucky)
"If I wanted to spend a half hour between two hairy legs I'd go to your mother's house." -Don Frye
For some reason I have a feeling that Struve is gonna take this one, so he’s most likely gonna get knocked out.
The only thing Jon Jones does better than Matt Hamill is hear.

I was wondering about Linhares as well
"I fight because I can’t sing, I can’t dance, and it beats working all day. Now ask me a question that doesn’t sound so fucking stupid." – Phil Baroni
I think Linhares is a good fighter with some slick jiu jitsu and that he will win some fights in the UFC but this is a terrible stylistic matchup because Palhares has better wrestling and also better jiu jitsu.
Mike Pierce at +325 is intriguing
I feel like he has the wrestling ability to keep Fitch from working his top game, and his boxing is coming along. Considering Fitch has a tendency to leave himself wide open going for power shots without any setup, I could see him getting knocked down a couple times and dropping a decision to Pierce.
Linhares is very interesting at +235, which is what I got him for at Sportsbook.com today. He’s never been submitted, has vastly better striking, hits harder and has better cardio. If you’ve ever seen him fight, you know he’s an animal. Palhares has better BJJ, but better BJJ doesn’t mean he’s going to submit Linhares.
I also like Buentello. Can’t believe he’s not the favorite in this bout. I think he’ll KO Struve in the first round, so obviously I jumped on him at +115.

Kongo is free money as far as I’m concerned. His stand up is great and mirs takedowns are not that good. Kongo has usually been defeated by decision. 1 tko due to gilbert yvel. Never submitted. Mir isn’t knocking him out or taking a decision.
Yeah, but who has he fought that would realistically sub him?
Cro Cop, Herring, Cain, Evensen, and Yvel? His matchmaking is almost always to get a nice stand up battle. Cain is the only exception that jumps to mind, and he hasn’t shown any proficient submission game. I’m not gonna say Mir is the best black belt in MMA or even in his weight class, but he’s a totally different league than the rest of Kongo’s opponents and has incredibly offense oriented grappling. A sub won’t surprise me at all.
True
But then again, look at the people frank mir has submitted. Tim sylvia is his best submission as far as competition. Just saying you can spin it both ways. In the end, mir needs the fight on the ground to win. Mir will eat leather trying to do so. Cain got lucky, mir won’t. And I like Cain.
Traven was BJJ Black Belt...
I'm like PacMan fightin you silly kids... throw ya Hatton the ring, and get knocked outlike Ricky did.
lol.
Traven was more than just a black belt
he won the mundials 2×. And won ADCC at open weight. Mir subbing him is nothing short of phenomenal

I really want Kongo to win. But he’s never really beaten a top-tier HW, unless you count Cro Cop, which is iffy. He’s a good gatekeeper, but I just don’t see him beating Mir, unless Mir gasses or something or catches him early. He lost to Herring just because he couldn’t do ANYTHING on the ground, even though he dominated the striking, and Mir’s better than Herring on the ground.
On the other hand, a part of me want to see Mir rematch Nog, and obviously that may not happen if Mir loses…
No money bets on this card…
If I was forced to bet I would put money on Kongo over Mir… Man I wanna see Kongo vs Dos Santos.
With 108 This has been the worst fukin quarter… thank god for BJ vs Diego. I think this fight will be epic. Fight of the year.
PPV’s need to have a title fight main event. Depending on how marketable that fight is or isnt the co-main should make up for it. If the title fight sells the card on its own then the co-main should be based on “merit” not on marketability (a contender fight)… if the title fight cant sell the card on its own then the co-main should be based on marketability (Tito vs Forrest type of fight).
In addition to a title fight main event and an appropriate co-main event there should also be a “featured fight” like a: (crocop vs rothwell, Florian vs Huerta type fight.)
UFC 107 is a true ppv card. 102, 103, 105, 106, 108, 109, 110 had and has every element except for the main event and in order to maximize retention and maintain the prestige of a UFC ppv this formula needs to be adhered to.
From March of next year on we should be seeing pure ppv’s with true main events:
March: GSP vs Hardy
April: Anderson vs Vitor
May: Machida vs Shogun
June: Bj vs ? (Rampage vs Rashad)
July: Brock vs Carwin
Aug: GSP vs
Sep: Anderson vs
October: Shogun vs
Nov: Brock vs
etc…

GOOD POST MMALOGIC
I love how you put Shogun vs and not Machida vs!!! Giving the man the respect he deserves for winning that fight! I would like to see Dos vs Kongo too, but I think Dos would take him down. I know how great Dos’ standup is, but why risk getting KO when he can easily use his jits? He rolls with some of the best as I’m sure you know.

I agree with a minor quibble.
I thought 102 was one of the best cards of the year while 104 had a great title fight and nothing worthwhile to support it. The most interesting matchup outside of the main event was Sonnen-Okami, and that got prelim’d.
