Yes, he’s very verbose but he’s a good interviewee for any media because he’s not spewing off all the regular sports platitudes and cliches.

And he’s going to have a long career in MMA after his last fight.

Agreed. Mir can be annoying, especially when he talks about himself, but when he’s talking about others or analyzing things, he can be quite lucid at times.

surprisingly

this was one of his interviews i liked the most. he must have been doing that sandbagging and overpoliteness too much in his other ones, because i can’t really think of anything i disliked that much in this at all.
