he said he’s planning to lose weight, and maybe even drop to LHW.. Well he’s going to have a lottttttt of time to be fit, and trim there. Hope he does it though.

I wonder if the thumb padding prevents eye pokes from the thumb, since it’s a bit more closed compared to the ones without the pad?

Sadly, His weight gain probably has to do with the depression suffered by so many servicemen/women after returning from a tour. Hopefully going back will be good for him mentally as well, maybe confront some demons. Of course Im assuming that’s the problem, but all throughout the show, regardless of being called titties you could tell he wasn’t a very happy person.

Depression isn’t something that has to be obvious.

I actually had a friend who committed suicide, because of a depression.. and in my eyes and everyone else’s, he seemed like a really happy guy.

You shouldn’t assume so much. I’ve deployed twice, 26 months, and the only weight gain that occurred was from the change in temperature. Going back will be good for him? You should go over, it might be good for you too. PT and Mental Health is mandatory if you didn’t know.
