Mazzagatti has just been horrible lately
The Rothwell vs Velasquez call was pretty bad, and some recent ones weren’t very good either.
Every ref makes bad calls now and again
The only reason people bitch so much about Mazz is because they wanted Brock to be above the rules.

I don’t want brock to be above the rule…I want the referees to apply the same rules to everyone (and the real ones).

Hitting in the back of the head is illegal for all fighters. He didn’t stop when warned, so the ref stopped him. He cried, Dana cried, the BrockBoys cried. The ref did his job.

Thats where it started
and now everything he does gets scrutinized (as they say in the clip). If only he didn’t enforce those darn rules against Lesnar, he wouldn’t be singled out like he is now. He’s be just another ref who makes good and bad calls sometimes.

Seriously, Mazzagatti sucked before the Lesnar fight.
It definitely was the straw that broke the camel’s back, but Steve’s been fucking up for years.

No more so than other refs. The only ref people don’t trash is John McCarthy. Mazz is only singled out because of the publicity from the Lesnar loss.

I've never been a fan of his.
He and Tan Dan shouldn’t even be allowed to ref games of Magic: The Gathering.

I don't know about you,
but I’ve seen a lot of bad calls from Mazzagatti before that.. I didn’t like him even before Lesnar..
plus, what’s that name of the guy who always said “improve your position” every ten seconds on the ground? Don’t like that guy too..

and thats a terrific rebuttal to anyone who asks what he does think of people saying what they do
