I wish Zuffa would give Jens a permanent job so he could retire from fighting. He is a great ambasador for the sport and did a real good job as a commentator.

I'm pretty sure he could have a permanent job with Zuffa if he wanted

I think this is more like a Liddell or Couture situation where he wants to come back and fight not that he needs to.

Jens has flat out stated that he can’t retire because he needs the money. Chuck and Randy can retire to lavish luxury (provided they invested wisely). Jens never made any of that big money in his career, for him retiring from fighting isn’t “retirement” it’s just having to find a new job to support his family.

when did he say this

I tried googling it and i cant find anything.

I dont think he is as bad of shape as you seem(money wise) but then again I’m not positive.

This isn’t the interview I was thinking about but it’s pretty similar.

5:50 of the interview he talks about money:

I wouldn’t mind if he took Mir’s spot in WEC broadcasts

I don’t know. He’s funnier than Mir, and I like him more, but he’s really not as clear a speaker. As much crap as Mir gets for being biased, he is very well spoken and knowledgeable.

Mir at one point

was very good. He took a turn to Torres’ lower half though.

Poor Jens :(

Yamamoto is right behind Jens.

Pulver gets close to the biggest money the WEC has to offer, so he’s not allowed to be given scrubs to towel up. He’s just a bit too slow now to hang with the lightning speed of the 145lbers and Vasquez is going to be fucking pissed because of his last two fights.

I’d like to see Pulver take over Mirs commentating role. Mir gets the big bucks smacking up bitches in the big leagues, Pulver deserves to earn some quality money doing something he is very qualified to do.

Not that I condone facism or any ism for that matter. Isms are in my opinion, not good. A person shouldn't believe in an ism, he should believe in himself.

I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me". Good point there, after all he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. Wouldn't change the fact I have to bum rides off of people.
