El Guapo shares his thoughts on Fedor vs. Rogers, Kimbo vs. Houston, and MMA's next generation:
On Fedor's performance vs. Brett Rogers-
"I thought he looked really sloppy though on the ground in his fight against Rogers and there were a couple of times where I thought he was going to go for submission and there was a perfect opportunity for him to get a toehold. Even though he looked sloppy it was almost like he was doing it on purpose to get his opponent comfortable and then boom there it is. You never know what is going on in the mind of this guy, he is a freak and when I say freak I mean it in a good way."
On Kimbo vs. Houston -
"It was insane and the referee should have gone in there and pushed the action. That is what I liked about Japan in that if you weren't fighting then boom you got a yellow card and bada bing you just lost 10% of your fight purse and that will most likely keep you more aggressive. That was the same game plan that he was supposed to use against Seth Petruzelli. The first rule being that you do not rush in there, let your opponent throw some kicks and punches and find out what his plans are for the fight and I think that is what he did against Alexander."
On 2010's breakout star -
"I have to go with Jon Jones because this guy is going to be very good. Even his loss by disqualification to Matt Hamill isn't going to matter in the long term of his career because he is going to be great. His striking is already good even though he is a wrestler and with all that crazy stuff that he throws out there he only has room to grow as an exciting fighter. He has unbelievable reach and he looks like the President."

Bas really should refrain from bashing guys for using PEDs. It makes him look like a hypocrite considering the fact that he pissed hot after his fight with Warpath.
Did he? I’m hearing it for the first time.

That was prescription painkillers, not PEDs. I mean yeah he failed the drug test, painkillers are illegal for a good reason, and he had to know they were illegal, but it’s not like he was on HGH.
you know how bad Bas’s knees are? it was either the painkillers or no fight at all… give bas a break steve.

LOL
So Bas is the only guy in the sport with creaky knees?
Honestly, ‘I don’t have a huge problem with Bas getting popped. What I have a problem with is him climbing up on his high horse and looking down his nose at ‘these athletes today’ when he knows guys from his generation did the same damn thing.
please knees my ass Did you see the list of opiate based drugs he pissed dirty fo ?. Morphine,Hydrocodone, and Demerol and Diphenhydramine. He must fought with knees that were getting eaten away with cancer or broken in about 10 places to be using that mix especially straight Morphine. He also said they were given under a Doc’s script funny we never heard what Doc or saw the scripts ?
Since when are painkillers not a PED?
You don’t think the an increased pain threshold could come in handy during a fight?
I was under the impression they fall under the header of drugs of abuse, not PEDs, but I could easily be wrong.
They are definitely PEDs.
Without the painkillers, Bas wouldn’t have been able to compete at all. That is the very definition of ‘performance enhancing’.
So then by your definition Vitamin C is a PED.

i doubt he was on them during the fight. Bas still would have shown dirty even if he took them days before the fight. He probably was taking them so he could train.
Idon’t think taking painkillers during a fight would be worth the decrease in mental clarity that would result. Fighters already are full of adrenaline which deadens pain anyway.
sigh. Jon Jones looks nothing like President Obama.

this is true for all races. When I was in Korea/China/Japan, I was told I look like all white people. It was crazy!
