King Mo warns the athletic commissions that he has more post-fight "celebrations" in mind:
"I’m going to do something. I don’t care. They can fine me. I’m going to be doing something after every fight just for them. They created a monster by fining me," said the undefeated mixed martial artist.
"I’m just going to be creative and find ways to celebrate. If they want to fine me for the way I celebrate. That’s cool."

That’s fine, I’m sure they don’t mind collecting fines.

Now we play the guessing game
Is he gonna moon the crowd?
Will he bring a smoke machine?
Will he bring in a t-shirt cannon?
So Many Questions
I’m guessing a DX mooning.

Wait for his next fight.
I’m gonna go pour a Monster Energy Drink all over myself because Rockstar doesn’t pay me!

It’s easier than fighting and beating real competition.

Because after two more fights
he should be fighting the Jake Obriens of the world, right?
"Someone is WRONG on the internet. What do you want me to do? LEAVE? Then they'll keep being wrong!"
-Randall Munroe
Obrien won a round against Arlovski… He’s better than all of King Mo’s opponents combined. So yeah, Spilling a drink all over yourself is alot easier to get attention – from the closet pro-wrestling fanboys who follow MMA to look cool – than actually beating some real opponents.
It's rarely good
when a fighters best accomplishment is doing well before he got KOed…
Fine. Would you be content if Mo stepped up to somebody like Andre Gusmao?
"Someone is WRONG on the internet. What do you want me to do? LEAVE? Then they'll keep being wrong!"
-Randall Munroe
If you want to get experience and grow into the sport before further testing yourself then a guy like that is fine… but dont pretend you’re anything special yet.
He needs to fight a guy like Krzysztof Soszynski so he can be tested and so we know what he’s made of.
Look at Jon Jones and the level of his progression:
Stephan Bonnar
Obrien
Hamill
And now he’s fighting Brandon Vera.
If Mo wants to gain more experience and more ring time then a guy like Gusmao is fine and that approach is fine too and probably better for his career. But calling out Fedor or Gegard after you beat a 260 lb mike whitehead is silly. If you want to talk then at least fight some real competition first.
I can stomach Mayhem Millers character as he’ll at least fight real competition, but this guy is overcompensating way too much.
Wow, you... agree with me.
A guy with 6 wins should fight lesser competition… like Andre Gusmao. Then graduate to the Jake Obrien’s of the world, who still haven’t really accomplished anything significant. Just like Jon Jones. Interesting.
Hate on his personality and antics all you want. I have nothing good to say about his stage persona, so I stay silent. But back off on the level of competition bashing. He’s still a prospect, and is gradually building.*
*I know that arguing with you on this is useless since he’s in Strikeforce, but I have to say it. Or read my own signature more.

Im not backing off shit… Spilling a drink all over yourself to get attention is alot easier than fighting real competition. That’s what I posted and you still have no argument for why I’m wrong…
It’s just like you saying “arguing with you on this is useless”… because you realize it’s alot easier to say that than admit that you have no argument.
Lawal is getting you to talk about him, so he wins. He doesnt care if youre shitting on him because youre talking about him. Even if he wasnt doing these antics, he’d still be fighting the Mike Whiteheads of the world because thats where he is at. Getting us to talk about him this early is him laying the groundwork for any potential stardom he has. Strikeforce offers him ppl to allow for his development until he steps up to Mousasi/Hendo/Arlovski/Werdum or moves on to the UFC, but until then he develops while getting a rise out of firebrands like you.

Who said he wasnt benefiting… I said its alot easier for him to spill juice on his chest and throw tantrums to get attention than it is to fight real competition. And as you point out, I am right.
Its just that you seem to be criticizing the fact he hasnt fought ranked fighters yet even though hes making a name for himself. I think what hes doing is wise

yeah, again going back to what I said…
It’s alot easier for him to spill juice on himself and throw tantrums than to fight real competition.
It’s not wise to throw a substance on the floor where other fighters are rolling around in with potentially open cuts. Its Stupid.
He should stick to the dancing but that doesn’t fly as well in the states so at least come up with a new shtick – one that doesn’t hinder other fighters – to keep your name infront of the closet pro-wrestling… I mean “hardcore mma fans”.
i hope
he pinches a big loaf in the center of the cage… or in the post-fight he just pees in his shorts
so when does he change his name to King Siete Dos?
also, thought this would be a good enough place to ask… who the fuck is Seamus? Im kinda drunk after my Dawgs dominated and watchin wwe for the first time in a couple years. Is Bret Hart really comin back???
sry for being off topic, i have no place else to go

Yeah, I thought he was kind of interesting when he first came on the scene and he’s definitely talented but when you’re trying harder to make yourself into a cartoon character than a fighter then something is wrong.

it was a can of energy drink people!! if there wasnt a fine, no one wouldve even talked about it at all…..

Yeah right
The whole house of people I was watching it with were like “dude, stop pouring your douche-juice all over the cage” while he was being chased around by a ring official who repeatedly asked him to stop.

at the post presser… not one person was even talking about it, and not one reporter even asked about it that i recall.. it wasnt until the fine, that it became as issue.

If you're talking about it being an issue in the press..
It’s not— he keeps bringing it up.

For a guy who hasnt beaten anyone
from an irrelevant MMA organization, his stories sure get fronted on BE a lot.
