Makes sense

I always wondered why they kept Shane Nelson around for so long.

Wren will be back, he had some good potential.

Sorry that it worked out this way for Jones, but it’s for the best. Hope to see him staying active in BJJ

I hope to see

Edgar Garcia and Justin Wren go out and pick up some wins and come back. Wren just needs to learn how to go for the kill.

For sure. I was a little surprised they were let go, but I think it is purely for them to go get more experience. Especially Wren.

this.

He’s got the pedigree, but Wren needs some time in the minors… he should sign with Strikeforce.

Wren was the only one I was surprised about. The others are pretty obvious for a variety of reasons but Wren showed real promise.

Shane Nelson is a natural featherweight

I think he should go get some wins and make a run at the WEC, sort of like Manny Gamburyan and Leonard Garcia – both former UFC fighters who were too small for lightweight. Nelson has good hands and is an exciting fighter.

agreed hed be a solid addition to the fw divsion too i dont think hed be a title contender but they could definetly have some good fights with him against the lower tier and up and coming fighters

Edgar Garcia could be very valuable to another organization and I fully expect him to finally get it together after this. I’d love to see him sign with Bellator.

I thought that Wilson Gouveia would be cut after losing to Alan Belcher

The other cuts don’t surprise me, but I thought that Gouveia would be cut as well even though he is said to be a great fighter but doesn’t train like a great fighter.
