Frank Mir Talks Brock Lesnar
"Is Brock Lesnar going to be able to be a 300 pound fighter again? I don't know". ..."If I had to fight Brock, the first thing I'm looking for, I'm going to kick him in the gut or knee him in the stomach".

Damn Brock has a nce ass in that pic.
for all intents and purposes, just consider all my posts as works of satire.
I'd hit it.
With a brick.

Yeah, it's not like he was being asked questions about Brock the whole time...
Oh. Wait.

as soon as that leg is off the ground. brock puts him on his back with relative ease and squashes him pounding his face into mincemeat again though.
I've said it before and I'll say it again
Eat a salad, Brockles.

Just a reminder
They keep asking him questions about brock, every damn week.
"You hit too hard, too hard, too hard..."
And he keeps answering them
Instead of saying “I wish Brock all the best and hope he gets well soon, I’m just concentrating on my next opponent”.
Agreed.
We all know it’s not 100% announced yet, but odds are he’ll have to get through Carwin before Brock. If he sleeps on Carwin…wait, no, let me rephrase…if he isn’t thinking about Carwin, Carwin will put him TO sleep.
At first, I applauded Mir’s enthusiasm for wanting the rubber match. Now it’s just a sad and ridiculous state of affairs.

Did you even listen to the interview?
Because he was very understanding and respectful.
Again.

So what, he should say no comment to every Brock question until Brock is back?

What a dick.
Instead of saying "I wish Brock all the best and hope he gets well soon, I’m just concentrating on my next opponent".
I’m pretty sure the guy would come up with another brock question anyway.
"You hit too hard, too hard, too hard..."
Yeah, and how dare he offer an opinion about interim titles/stripping the champ
…when you know, he’s been through that exact situation. What a meany.

It is actually
While some may not care (or say that they don’t care but get the PPV anyway), the idea of a rubber match is interesting to many fans, and I can see a huge buyrate for it. The other things that help are just the smack talk that Mir has been doing to promote the fight. Mir destroying Kongo also adds to this because the story of Mir bulking up and training hard make it seem like Mir has a chance against Lesnar. With Mir destroying Kongo, it makes it look like there is a “new Frank Mir,” and that gives off the idea that Mir is a threat to Lesnar.

Exactly. On top of that, Lesnar probably won’t be the same Lesnar before the health problem. I know they say he’d been functioning at 60%, but he probably won’t be the same in terms of size, at least I don’t think so. With Frank bulking up and sharpening his skills, while Lesnar sits around trying to get healthy, their rubber match is one where Frank has a good chance of winning. If you asked me a few months ago if Frank could beat Lesnar in their rubber match, I would have said no. But a lot has changed since, and a lot will change between now and when the rubber match eventually happens. At this point, I am leaning more and more towards Frank.

Woah
Anyone think that Mir saying he’d attack Brock’s stomach is a little…fucked up? To me, sounds like he really thinks that he’d be able to hurt brock, for real, if he was to hit him in the body the right way. That’s dirty as hell, I mean, a fight is a fight, I know, but to openly talk about going for something that could potentially damage a man’s health even after the fight? Ouch.
I love it though, let the smack talk commence!

What do you mean? MMA personalities say way more messed up comments than that all the time. Just because Brock is sick right now it makes it worse?
Besides, every MMA fighter does that. If a person comes back from an injury and fights, the opp. is going to capitalize on it.

It’s Frank Mir, what do you expect?
Keep firing Assholes!
Fedor has accomplished nothing until he fights Kimbo.
Really?
If he believes that Brock’s stomach may be a bit more susceptible to punishment is he supposed to intentionally ignore it or take it easy? Or is he supposed to try to capitalize on it?
I'm like PacMan fightin you silly kids... throw ya Hatton the ring, and get knocked outlike Ricky did.
lol.
All targeting Brock’s gut will do is piss him off.

Did nobody listen to the interview?
Why do they bother including it if everyone is just going to read the quotes and make assumptions?

Is it any worse

You didn't listen to the interview.
That’s pretty obvious.
He said that he’d attack the body because it would give him a psychological advantage over Brock once Brock is all healed up, the same way that somebody going after his leg gave them a psychological advantage after his leg was all healed up.
And it’s not like a body kick causes or exacerbates diverticulitis.

Turns out, no!
And besides which: if Brock’s guts are still messed up – he won’t be fighting!
Except maybe in Florida… or on a reservation. That could work….
