Cerrone seriously outclassed Ratcliff in that fight but the dancing around taunting Ratcliff and trying to get the crowd amped up in the third? That was a little bit much for me. You’re beating on a guy you’ve kneed hard in the balls three times in the last ten minutes. There’s no way Ratcliff recovers from that during the fight, whether he was going to win otherwise or not. It’s not the kind of win you should be celebrating like that.
Just finish the fight and go back to the gym to work on your clinch so you don’t get two points deducted in your next fight.
Yeah, came off as pretty classless.
Without pain, without sacrifice, we would have nothing.

So the guy
was happy to knee someone in the balls twice? classless doesn’t even begin to describe that.
He's pretty smug
For someone who would most likely get smoked against a variety of UFC lightweights (No wonder he stays in the WEC). And for someone who had to resort to a diuretic to cut weight. don’t forget, he was one of the Hoelzer Reich sponsored fighters, so that should tell you about him (Or maybe he just doesn’t have a clue).
I thought Cerrone was trying to get Ratcliff angered so he’d abandon his conservative gameplan and rush Cerrone. Cerrone at least thought he needed a finish, so he was doing things to entice Ratcliff to engage more and at least give Cerrone the chance for the finish.
The way Cerrone seemingly gives away rounds due to not being fired up enough, I thought it was great that he finally got a bit of urgency in there, because his striking was awesome.

I watched a sagat stand up once. I was laughing my ass off. My little sisters upstairs watching full house and he’s tellin all the little kids to be good and responsible and I’m downstairs and he’s tellin me that I should never fuck a goat. And that if he was shitting me he would die. Lol
I'm not calling him dad, even if theres a fire

Watch The Aristocrats. He tells one of the worst, nastiest versions of it…

This thing above the knee, is it a nose, or mouth, or wtf?

aa, nose and cheek. Looks like 9mm smashed his own nose with a fist, Cerrone’s knee doesnt cover the nose…

This last Cerrone fight showed everything that is good and bad about the guy, there is no question that the guy has all the talent in the world. Personally speaking I had him winning both the Varner and Henderson fights and with his iron chin and dangerous subs and varied striking this guy can be a future LW champion.
But it also showed the same problems that he’s shown in the past, he has no sense of urgency he had plenty of chances to finish Ratcliff and chose to put on a show instead. He looks bored half the time and doesn’t follow his gameplan and gives away rounds not because the other guy is better but because he just seems to enjoy fighting more than winning.
In the end i’m just hoping that he gets the winner of Varner/Henderson because I guarantee you, if you thought he was fired up against Ed he’ll be ready to explode in that rematch.
The same people who don’t like Cerrone pumping up the crowd probably. more than likely, hate Rashad Evans….
