Fedor's striking coach, Alexander Michkov says "Fedor has slowed":
"With regard to age, it certainly has an effect," Michkov said. "To some extent, a decrease in high speed performance, but this is offset by experience."
"Now the speed, of course, is a little slower, but -- knock on wood -- continues to be enough for Fedor to win," Michkov said. "There's a reduction in speed, but his combination of attacks have grown. And, in my opinion, to date, he remains the fastest heavyweight."

In Idaho, it's illegal to f--- a porcupine. You know why? Because someone tried it.

His handspeed may have slowed
but as stated his experience has given him the ability to make decisions quicker, which sorta counters that to an extent. I think fighters who are able to “fight faster” do so because they learn and react to the situation quicker than an inexperienced fighter.
Well said. If muscle twitch were the only factor, Kevin Randleman would have been the sweetest striker in MMA history.

He looked especially slow against Arlovski where it took .036 seconds instead of .024 seconds to counter that flying knee.

Statements like these
keep reminding me that Fedor WILL lose eventually. First one to claim him as a fraud when it happens gets a kick to the jimmy.

Those guys are just refreshingly honest.
About everything. Fedor and his trainers, I mean. Not Vlad. Enjoyed the Fight Camp 360 parts in Stary Oskol. The Rogers parts … not so much.
Although detractors decry (MMA) as a brutal, bloody form of human cockfighting, aficionados know it is a brutal, bloody, totally fucking awesome form of human cockfighting. -The Onion

what's this guy's striking background?
muay thai, karate, kickboxing, or boxing?
I also believe he’s been coaching Fedor over a decade.
