WEC’s Reed Harris says Strikeforce’s fights mean little:
“For Strikeforce you kind of see this round robin thing, where guys fight, they disappear, they come back. Nothing against the fighters. [Strikeforce] has no direction right now,” Harris told DC and The Sunshine Man on ESPNRadio1100. “If they’re going to get better and become big, they need to fill up those divisions with depth and quit recycling guys.”
“The difference between WEC and Strikeforce is we have almost all the top guys in the world in our company and they don’t. The other thing is when we do our fights they all have meaning. Donald (Cerrone’s) fight has meaning. There are certain implications as far as fighting for the title.”
