Anderson Silva sparring at Wild Card boxing gym from his Boxing for MMA DVD. There's 2 more rounds of sparring. Then he works out technique with Freddie Roach on the DVD.

Wow that’s great footage. Thanks for posting. I don’t know enough about boxing to know who he’s sparring there, how good he is, etc. Wonder how much those guys know about Anderson Silva? Seemed like Anderson was taking it easy, staying static on his feet and letting the guy work in the second, but could have turned it on hard at any moment. Anderson’s speed, footwork, balance and power all translate to pure boxing really well by the look of it.

It seemed to me that Anderson wasn’t throwing nearly as hard as the other guy. It’s also pretty cool to see Freddie Roach working with him after the sparring correcting the mistakes he was making, like taking that big right when he was leaning back against the ropes.

Poor guy

Anderson was literally just toying with him the entire time. And the other guy was getting pissed.

I’ve thought for a while that Anderson’s hands are his most valuable weapons, he really uses them to great effect

Ha, Anderson does like his food, huh? Crazy that he was probably hit more in that sparring session than his UFC career. Towards the end of the second, dude put a mean looking combo on the spider, even rocked his head straight back! You could tell Andy didn’t mind too bad, though…he had answers.

I can die happy now that I've been to a UFC event. 107 rocked
