Rampage...
is the one filming a movie right? Someone should tell Rashad that you can’t cancel on someone who already canceled on you.
He would jump on the Rampage fight IN A SECOND!
Especially after he sees the buyrate of him headlining the UFC 108 show.
I don’t know if any of you put stock in body language, but right after the Anderson Silva question was asked he took about 4 big steps backwards as he was answering the question. I don’t think he’s comfortable or confident about fighting him (who is?).
Silva does have that air of invincibilty around him, but I do think Rashad matches up well with Silva. As long as Rashad keeps his gameplan, stay on the inside and try and frustrate Silva with his wrestling.
for all intents and purposes, just consider all my posts as works of satire.
Rashaaaad. He gonna dominate yo will Rashaaaad. He gonna dominate yo will.
Keep firing Assholes!
Fedor has accomplished nothing until he fights Kimbo.

I think he has a better idea of how to fight Anderson than most...
but I doubt it would translate into anything but a KTFO.
Inside is an invitation to the Muy Thai plumb.
I used to hate Rashad....
I thought he was too cocky but he has grown on me and he is now one of my favorite fighters.

I'm always thinking that there's something wrong with me
because I really like Mir, Evans and Penn, but I guess I just have a messed up sense of humor.
i second this!
i really don’t see why everyone hates on these three. They’re all quite talented, and know how to sell fights.
Hey yeah me too. Rashad has a really good way about him. He’s tough and he fights hard and he seems to have a good attitude. I loved BJ until Greasegate, then I thought that he was taking it way too far, but now that he’s turned it into a positive thing I’m back on. His revelation right before fighting Florian is the shit. Great perspective.
Mir too. He’s selling the fights a little harder then I like, but he’s a good fighter, seems focused on improving and getting better and keeping himself motivated. I liked his rather frank synopsis going into his previous fights before he fought Lesnar. He’s getting bigger than his britches though, but I still like him.
I like Rashad pretty well myself, but I’ve never seen the early seasons of the Ultimate Fighter, where the hate apparently began. Mir and Penn I’m just ambivalent and grudgingly respectful of as fighters.

he was a decent bloke on the ultimate fighter
just got hate for LnP mostly. i remember him trying to calm Melvin Guillard down and was telling him to be humble because he would end up having to back everything up in the cage because guillard was bragging nonstop about how he can elbow people through the earth and have them come out the other side (note: not a direct quote)
'He built his whole reputation as a waffle house chef. They’ve been serving him up ham and eggs with a side of canned tomatoes' - Don Frye on Fedor Emelianenko

The guy I’m really not into is Thiago Silva. I don’t like the way he points and does the neck slit thing after all his fights. Walking around like he’s the baddest man in town and taking himself way too seriously. But I don’t know him really well because he doesn’t really talk English.
It bothered me that he did it when james irvin was beating him and when he blows his knee out thiago acts like won by devastating knockout.

Rashad, you’re a great guy, a skilled fighter, and team player but please do something about the acne. A 31 year-old man shouldn’t have to suffer the indignity of zits.

Interesting
Wonder if his feeling casually about a Machida rematch now has anything to do with the close call vs. Shogun? Thiago Silva I believe has already made clear that he wants to fight Machida again, period, and he’s already shown that mentally he’s gotten over it.
This is more Rashad’s test than Thiago’s, if you ask me.
